Torchlit Trail Experience – Burke
February 11, 5:00 – 7:00pm
Gaze at the stars, hear stories and roast a marshmallow during Kingdom Trails’ Torchlit Trail Experience. Depart from The Hub Trailside for a self-guided ski, fat bike, or snowshoe along the lit trail. A great outing for all ages!

84th Annual Snowflake Festival – Lyndon & Burke
February 17 – March 5, various times and locations

Winterbike 2023 – Burke
Saturday, February 25
Winterbike is Vermont’s premier Fatbike Festival. Now in its 11th year, this event continues to attract fat bike enthusiasts from all over. Ride along the marked loop at your own pace, stopping at warming fires along the way. Finish your ride at Mike’s Tiki Bar and let loose at the after party. This event his hosted by Kingdom Trails and Mountain Bike Vermont.

Shawn Dutil Ice Fishing Derby – Westmore
February 24 – 26
Take part in a New England tradition – ice fishing! The Shawn Dutil Ice Fishing Derby takes place on Willoughby Lake. Participants will compete for trophies, cash and door prizes.

Winter Carnival – Peacham
February 17 – 18
The Peacham Winter Carnival is fun for the whole family. Enjoy sleigh rides, dog sledding, delicious food, live music, and more. Various festivities taking place Friday and Saturday across town. Find a Winter Carnival Program online.

Curds & Curling – Greensboro
Saturday, February 25, 11:00am – 2:00pm
Highland Center for the Arts
Live music and warming fires will set the stage for Curds & Curling at Highland Center for the Arts. Try your hand at curling with a Jasper Hill cheddar cheese wheel or sit back and watch the action unfold. Enjoy cheese tastings, mac & cheese, and beverages from Barr Hill gin.

Winter Saturdays – Newport
Weekly on Saturdays through February 25
There’s still plenty of time to join in the excitement of Winter Saturdays in Newport. Each weekend features exciting daytime activities and ticketed evening events.  Winter Saturdays will conclude on February 25. Details below.  

Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival Newport
February 23 – 27, Ongoing Events
Cheer along as 185 participants brave the frosty waters of Lake Memphremagog during Kingdom Game’s annual Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival. Crowd favorites includes the “25m Hat Competition.” Registration to participate is sold out.

Fun Fact: This is the only two-lane, 250meter winter swimming pool cut in the ice in all of the Americas!

Winter Festival – Newport
Saturday, February 25, 9:00am – 7:30pm
Head to Newport’s Winter Festival to celebrate timeless Vermont traditions. Festivities include sledding and snow tubing, snowmobiling, ice skating, broom ball and snow sculpture competitions, chuck-a-puck, and more. The evening ends with fireworks over Lake Memphremagog. USASA Slopstyle – Jay
February 25, 8:30am – 3:00pm
Spend the day at Jay Peak for the USASA Slopestyle competitions. All day timed trials taking place at the Rusch Terrain Park. Purchase tickets online in advance.
