Milkhouse Ice Cream St. Johnsbury, VT
Grab a sundae from Milkhouse and explore downtown St. Johnsbury! Milkhouse serves over 26 flavors of hard and soft serve ice cream, shakes, sundaes, banana slips and moo mixers. Carmen’s Ice CreamLyndonville, VT
Carmen’s is open year-round to serve your sweet tooth! With over 50 flavors of hard and soft serve ice cream, frozen yogurt, award-winning sundaes, splits, shakes, and even doggie dishes, this place doesn’t mess around! 802 Hoagie’s Scoop Shop Lyndonville, VT

Clementine’s Creamery – East Burke, VT
Clementine’s Creamery is a seasonal ice cream stand and is the perfect stop after a day exploring Kingdom Trails or Burke Mountain! With flavors ranging from Maine Blueberry to Banana Cream Pie, you will taste the freshness and creativity in every lick!

April’s Maple Canaan, VT
For a real sweet experience, head to April’s Maple in Canaan. Visit the Ice Cream Stand or stay for lunch at the Café – either way, a trip isn’t complete without one of their famous Maple Creemees!

Serving up soft and hard ice cream, Hardwick House of Pizza is located right off Route 15. Grab a cone, flurry, or sundae and follow the bridge behind the House of Pizza to walk around Atkin’s Park community garden space and orchard. House of Pizza also has a full menu if you’re looking for a meal before your sweet treat.

Sweet Scoops has become a known favorite throughout the northern part of the Kingdom, with locations in both Derby and Barton. Choose from a large selection of ice cream, creemees, and specialty sundaes changing throughout the summer season.  Check Facebook for shop hours and flavor specials.

Sugar Mountain Fudge & Candy Shoppe – Newport, VT
Not quite an ice cream shop, but certainly worth honorable mention is Sugar Mountain Fudge & Candy Shoppe on Main Street in Newport. Homemade fudge in every flavor imaginable, pecan turtles, malted milk balls, chocolate covered raisins, peanut butter cups, English toffee, and more.  The smell alone will have you opening your wallet!

Cajun Snack Bar – Lowell, VT
If you’re looking for an eclectic mix of fresh seafood, hand-cut burgers, southern comfort food, and Vermont classics, head to Cajun’s Snack Bar! Top off your Fried Alligator Dinner, Crawfish Wrap, Scallop Roll, or Shrimp Poboy with a homemade sundae or flurry! Open seasonally May – September.
